Although the Texas Gulf Coast offer some of the best bird watching in the state, rural areas and farmlands afford the birdwatcher extraordinary scenes of raptors and game birds. I'm concentrating on taking pictures of quail in 2007 and I hope to have some close up pictures of chicks and nesting activities with a family of hawks I've found on my own farm.
